Meet the Founder

Lorena Villa, M.S., LPC

Bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor

Born and raised in Mexico City, I am trained and licensed in both the U.S. and Mexico, with over 15 years of clinical experience across community agencies, healthcare systems, and private practice. I founded my practice to make high-quality mental health care accessible to the Hispanic community in our native language.

My goal as a therapist is to walk alongside you as you navigate life’s complexities. I believe therapy is a collaborative process rooted in empathy, trust, and evidence-based care.

My clinical approach centers on psychodynamic depth therapy, focusing on understanding the root causes of emotional distress rather than quick fixes. I complement this with specialized, evidence-based methods such as EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), ensuring you gain practical, real-world tools to navigate daily challenges throughout your therapy.
